How to log into WordPress (SSO from my.swiftpress.io)

Open wp-admin with one click using single sign-on from the SwiftPress client area—the blue WP Admin button and popup settings.

SwiftPress can log you into WordPress without typing your wp-admin password every time—using single sign-on (SSO) from the client area after you’re already signed in to my.swiftpress.io.

Steps

  1. Sign in to my.swiftpress.io.
  2. Open the site you want to manage (select it from your sites list).
  3. In the control panel for that site, click the blue “WP Admin” button — usually at the top right of the panel (exact layout may vary slightly when we update the UI).

That action should open WordPress (wp-admin) in a new tab or window and authenticate you automatically via SSO.

Pop-ups and browser settings

SSO often opens wp-admin in a new window. If nothing happens when you click WP Admin:

  • Allow pop-ups for my.swiftpress.io in your browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox each have a pop-up icon or site settings).
  • Disable aggressive ad blockers or privacy extensions for that session—they sometimes block SSO or OAuth-style windows.
  • Try a different browser or private/incognito window with extensions disabled to test.

After you allow pop-ups, click WP Admin again.

Why SSO is useful

BenefitExplanation
FasterNo separate WordPress password step when you’re already in the client area.
Safer habitFewer passwords typed on shared keyboards; access is tied to your SwiftPress account.
Fewer lockoutsLess juggling of different credentials if you forget which email owns the WP user.

You can still use a normal WordPress login at https://yoursite.com/wp-admin/ with a local user if your workflow requires it—SSO is an optional convenience from my.swiftpress.io.
